About Me

Hi! I’m Jordan Turner—wife and Mom of 3 little boys and lover of organization. I grew up loving organization. In every phase of my life, I found myself organizing my space to give the things I valued importance, especially my time. Creating systems so that the I/family unit can function efficiently and independently. Now as a parent, I know that nothing is ever perfect. Toys are out, shoes are everywhere, laundry, snacks, school work; there is always something. But If there is a system, the chaos doesn’t add to your stress because you know if it came to it you can put everything back quickly. I want to give that peace to others. I know how an organized home can relieve stress from a family. and take the edge off. We can all use that.

About Imperfect

In 2017, while at my in-law’s house, I decided, with their blessing, to organize their kitchen. They had closed a cafe, and their kitchen was overrun with all the remnants that they just brought home and 20 years of living in the house. After that, a friend asked if I would help her organize her kitchen. She had hastily moved after her first child was born and had just put things places. The joy I got from helping them find peace in their homes drove me to start doing this professionally. In 2021, I formal began The Imperfect Organizer.
